National Cadet Corps (NCC)

National Cadet Corps (NCC)

The NCC unit of Vignan's Nirula was established under the National Cadet Corps (NCC), which operates under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
The unit currently consists of cadets dedicated to fostering discipline, leadership, and patriotic values among students.
The main objective of the NCC unit is to motivate students to participate in activities that promote national integration, personal development, and community service. Through various camps, parades, and social service initiatives, the cadets are provided with practical training that instills a sense of responsibility towards the nation and society.
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a premier youth organization that works to instill character, comradeship, discipline, and a secular outlook among the youth.
It provides opportunities for young students, both male and female, from high school and university levels to engage in military training and social service. Participation in NCC helps students gain invaluable experiences that contribute to their overall personal development and prepares them for roles in the armed forces or civilian life.
The NCC unit at Vignan's Nirula was sanctioned by JNTUK and operates with the guidance of the Programme Officer, under the supervision of a senior faculty member. The unit organizes regular drills, field activities, and community service projects aimed at promoting civic responsibility and nation-building.
The cadets at Vignan's Nirula participate in annual NCC camps, adventure activities, and social outreach programs, contributing positively to the development of local communities and the country as a whole. Through the NCC's structured training, cadets acquire essential life skills such as leadership, discipline, and team spirit, while actively participating in the welfare of society.
