About the Department

The Department of Information Technology, established in 2008, with an initial intake of 90 students and intake increased to 120 from the academic year 2013. Being a women's engineering college, our department is committed to empower women through a comprehensive education that blends academic rigor with cutting-edge technologies.

Our vision and mission emphasize fostering academic excellence, encouraging students to pursue higher studies, and engaging in research that addresses real-world challenges. We adhere to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) curriculum, providing an environment conducive to collaborative research and innovation.

By guiding our students to develop solutions that meet industry and societal needs, we consistently achieve strong placement records and academic success.

Objectives

Our primary objective is to inspire women to excel in foundational and advanced engineering skills, preparing them to be forward-thinking technocrats. We offer continuous exposure to emerging trends and tools through hands-on practical sessions, workshops, and industry collaborations.
